Doesn’t it give you great joy to see the people you love get married? Everyone this is Francesca Felix or should I say Francesca Mertune since she is now a married woman. Mrs. Mertune is one of the young ladies at my church, it was such an honor to assist Francesca with her bridal journey. Well to be quite honest it was unexpected when they ask me to take pictures of the bridal shower, just one hour before the event had started. Talk about last minute pressure; I panicked a little I mean I just started photography. It hasn’t even been 5 months yet and my photography skills isn’t even on a professional level to be taking BRIDAL SHOWER photos. “Minette this is your time to practice” so they said. They had so much faith in me, they filled my ear with words of encouragement which gave me confidence and also motivated me to photograph the bridal shower.
Meet the girls.
That’s it my job was done, or so I thought. One week before the wedding I was asked to take pictures of the bridal party as they were getting ready for the wedding. I wish there was an emoji to see what my facial expression was at that moment. I panicked once again, I didn’t want to be responsible for taking the pictures cause I feared I would mess up and being that I was comfortable where I was at. I mentally blamed my mother (Wedding planner) and Charlene for pressuring me. Then the day of the wedding came there I was taking the girls photos then I realized something, I needed that pressure from my mother and Charlene. If I would of stayed in my comfort zone and let my fears hinder me I wouldn’t have accomplish what my heart truly desired or fulfilled my vision.
Francesca I will always be grateful for you allowing me to grow as a new photographer during your very special days. Glad to call you my sister in Christ, and a friend. You deserve the best and I can’t wait to see where God will take you in your next journey. You will always be in my prayers, and heart. I love you and congratulations. 💖
Hello my lovely readers, I guess I should do a quick bio about me. Well, for one I am not your average woman I make living Holy look fun. Yes! I am a believer but, I AM NOT PERFECT nor do I pretend to be. I love my city Kissimmee, Florida was raised here all my life I rep it like I do with my nationality, Haitian-American. Don't like long walks on the beach because Florida is too hot and the birds here are mean, but, I enjoy watching the sunrise on my rooftop. My two favorite things that God created are the Moon and Stars, notice I didn't say humans? I am totally kidding, my love for people is deeper than my dimples. I have many passions one of them is doing missionary work, I enjoy the company of people from different cultures; I also admire photographing nature places I've traveled too and priceless moments. On July 28, 1992 was the best day that ever happens to my mother that is why she named me after her, Myriam Norgaisse. Thanks mother now I have to live the rest of my life getting our mail mixed up. Well, that was somewhat of a short bio. Enjoy my blog & more. Also, don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel at YouTube.com/c/GoldenMinettesWorld
