I’m Celebrating: Being Single!

At Disney World I see so many people celebrating something special; someone else’s birthday, beating cancer, becoming a Disney pass holder or even celebrating their divorce. So, I thought to myself what can I celebrate? What’s so special to me that I could embrace and share with others? Maybe being single?!

In all honesty I just wanted a reason to wear a Disney button I had no real motives why I’m celebrating being Single; it wasn’t until a guest at Disney said “She’s celebrating being single because she doesn’t need a man”. I couldn’t help but cringe at her comment. I wanted to respond and correct her, but, at that moment I was left speechless. Has this ever happened to you? You find yourself thinking about what someone said to you and you wish you had responded in a different way?

This is what I wish I had said.

“Me celebrating being single isn’t because I don’t need a man, I’m celebrating being single because I’ve learned to cherish these moments where I could learn, grow, experience being on my own without feeling lonely.”

That’s how I see being single besides you’re never really single when you’re dating God. 😉

I thought it would fun to celebrate being single every time I take a trip to Disney World, I mean why not? I even got a free ice cream because of my awesome button.

Hello my lovely readers, I guess I should do a quick bio about me. Well, for one I am not your average woman I make living Holy look fun. Yes! I am a believer but, I AM NOT PERFECT nor do I pretend to be. I love my city Kissimmee, Florida was raised here all my life I rep it like I do with my nationality, Haitian-American. Don't like long walks on the beach because Florida is too hot and the birds here are mean, but, I enjoy watching the sunrise on my rooftop. My two favorite things that God created are the Moon and Stars, notice I didn't say humans? I am totally kidding, my love for people is deeper than my dimples. I have many passions one of them is doing missionary work, I enjoy the company of people from different cultures; I also admire photographing nature places I've traveled too and priceless moments. On July 28, 1992 was the best day that ever happens to my mother that is why she named me after her, Myriam Norgaisse. Thanks mother now I have to live the rest of my life getting our mail mixed up. Well, that was somewhat of a short bio. Enjoy my blog & more.
